Description:
V-Pull Ups are advanced upper body exercises that combine the elements of a v-sit and a pull up. V-pull ups are designed to strengthen the upper body, while simultaneously firing up the core and hip flexors. In order to perform this exercise with the most efficiency, a solid pike flexibility is required. Scale by performing L-pull ups.
Process:
- begin in a hang on a bar
- engage core and bend body at the waist to lift legs up until they are close to the upper body
- bend elbows to lift body up until chin is in line with the bar
- maintain body position and control as you lower yourself to return to the starting position
